What should I expect? On the day of the appointment, the veterinary team will arrive at your home (or chosen location). We use an appointment window system, where your pet can be seen within a specific timeframe, typical morning 9-12 or afternoon 2-5. Depending on the service and day, your pet may be seen in your home/yard or within our mobile veterinary truck. This vehicle is outfitted like small veterinary clinics, with the necessary tools. The veterinary team will begin the consultation with a conversation with you and your family followed by an exam of your Petner. This could be anywhere from your living room to your yard, typical on floor or ground with your Petner, depending on your petner’s comfort and the nature of the visit. The vet examines your pet, discusses any concerns, and provides necessary treatments or vaccinations. We also have the unique opportunity to observe your petner in THEIR natural environment. Being in a familiar environment, the vet can observe your pet’s behavior and lifestyle more accurately, which can aid in diagnosis and advice.
